The Jefferson County Port Authority is accepting bids for the demolition and site cleanup of a single-family home lot at 6100 Mississippi St. Imperial, MO 63052, within the City limits of Kimmswick, Missouri. Bids are due by December 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Jefferson County Port Authority office, 114 Mississippi Ave, Crystal City, MO 63019. Proposals should be sealed and marked “DEMOLITION” and addressed to the attention of Executive Director Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway. All Missouri D.N.R. and E.P.A. demolition regulations must be followed, as well as any local city ordinances, and any demolition permits must be pulled before work begins. The Jefferson County Port Authority reserves the right to reject any bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding process. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder based on the sole determination of the Port Authority.

About Us

The Port Authority began in 1976 with a small group of men and women willing to donate their time to better the business climate of Jefferson County. As the years went by, these members consistently applied their time and talents to further develop the entire eastern border of Jefferson County that was bounded by the Mississippi River.
